Ian Collier, Partner and Chief Executive Officer
Ian has 23 years in merchant banking as an executive with TD Capital Group and Penfund Partners and prior to Perseis, managing the merchant banking operations of the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS). He has developed more than $4.0 billion in private market investments. Ian serves on the boards of several companies both within and outside of the Perseis portfolio. Ian has a B.A. (Economics) from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Gerry McGrath, Partner and Chief Financial Officer
Gerry has over 25 years of experience in private debt and equity investment management gained as a tax manager with Cavendish Investing, founding shareholder and CFO at Dynamic Capital Corporation (now Dundee Bancorp Inc.), CFO at Penfund Inc. and CFO at Borealis Capital. He serves as director of numerous public and private companies. Gerry has an Honours B. Sc. (Chemistry) from Concordia University and is a Chartered Accountant.
Bruce J. Hetherington, Partner
Bruce has more than 25 years in non-traditional leveraged financing, asset-based lending, leasing, mezzanine debt and private equity with Penfund, GE Capital and TD Asset Finance. He has led teams involved in management buyouts, acquisitions, and restructurings. Bruce has a B.A. (Economics) from Queen’s University and an M.B.A. from The University of Western Ontario.
David Grant, Partner
David has ten years of private equity investment experience, including management and leveraged buyouts, privatizations and investments in public companies. He worked for a venture capital fund followed by the OMERS merchant bank as a portfolio manager. He has a  B.E.Sc., an MBA from The University of Western Ontario and is a Professional Engineer.
Kevin Charbonneau, Vice President
Kevin focused on mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance assignments at Credit Suisse First Boston and BMO Nesbitt Burns prior to gaining institutional experience in real estate. He joined the private equity team in 2004. Kevin has an Honours B.A. (Economics) from Wilfred Laurier University.
